The Lord Your God Which Goeth Before You

“And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.” Deuteronomy 31:8

I am so thankful to be serving a loving God. One that loves me so much that every aspect of my life, everything that I must go through, He has already been there before me. I’m so thankful that no matter the situation, knowing God, He has already been here. It is He that has made this bearable because of Him I know I can make it through. He is not a God who just sits back and watches to see how we will handle a situation as some may think, but he is one that goes before us; all we have to do is stop getting ahead of ourselves and allow Him to take the lead in our life. That’s where He wants to be, and that’s where He should be, in Charge. If we allow Him to go first and we follow we can be confident of victory.

“The Lord your God which goeth before you, he shall fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes;” Deuteronomy 1:30

I am not saying that when following Him there will not be tough times; actually, I’m telling you the exact opposite. When you follow the Lord into battle you will face many enemies, but you can be confident knowing that He is there to get you through.

You all have a blessed day today and allow His guidance to be your direction in all you’re going through.

“I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:” Isaiah 45:2 (KJV)
